We're the Gamma Phi Chapter of the National Service Sorority and are
located at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. We were founded first in 1971 and "refounded" in 1999. This Fall we had eleven
wonderful new members added to our sorority!

Nationally, we were founded on October 12, 1952, when eight
different colleges combined their seven service organizations, which included Gamma Sigma Sigma at Drexel University, Omega
Service Sorority at NYU, and the Women's Service Organization at Boston College. Our national colors are Maroon and White,
and our motto is "Unity in Service". The high-most ideals that we hold are Service,
Friendship, and Equality; service is the reason that we continue to thrive. We are historically the first
sorority at Saint Francis. Our national flower is the white rose, and, while we have no national mascot, we have adopted
our own: the butterfly.
We're a great group of girls with boundless energy and a willing heart of service! WEE-OOP!
